So what is our responsibility to the marginalized and underprivileged? Jesus says the answer is very simple,”Just be ‘a neighbor’ to everyone you meet”. Sounds simple but what does ‘being a neighbor’ actually include? The answer to that question, says Jesus, is captured in the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37.
