Fifth Advent: Worship Part 5

Pastor Jesse concludes the advent series with a look at the Shepherds. The nativity story is a constant reminder that God’s kingdom looks very different from our earthly priorities – brokenness, imperfection, and weakness are not scary or overwhelming to God, but something that He embraces with grace! Having recently experienced loss and grief on a personal level, Pastor Jesse spends time speaking about his own journey, and uses the shepherds passage from Luke 2 to reveal a God who doesn’t magically take away our hurt or problems, but comes down to grieve with us in the present, and give us hope towards a future where all will be restored.
