Mercy in the Kingdom. Is there something that sets the quality of Mercy apart from other Kingdom qualities such as Grace or Kindness? Pastor Darren emphasizes that all of these beatitude statements call us to a new way of THINKING. He uses teaching from the OT, a parable from the NT and a personal ‘asking for mercy’ experience to illustrate the fact that ‘thinking Mercy’ is very, VERY hard and that our culture does not lead us to think this way; showing once again that this New Kingdom that Jesus brings is indeed an Upside Kingdom!
