We come to the story of Gideon in the book of Judges. Through this story, Pastor Dion reminds us that although God’s ways don’t always make sense to us, his ways are higher and greater than our own. We are also challenged to look to the cross as a reminder that the Lord is with you, especially when you feel afraid. That is God’s antidote to humanities fear throughout the Bible, ‘I am with you.’
